Zhaoping Lv, male, Han nationality, born on November 22, 1970 in Tongcheng, Anhui Province, has a master's degree, a doctor's degree in engineering, a member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee, vice president, professor, doctoral supervisor of Beijing University of Science and Technology, a member of the Standing Committee of the Chinese Association for Science and Technology, a member of the Party Leadership Group (on a temporary basis), and a secretary of the Secretariat (on a temporary basis), a director of the State Key Laboratory for New Metal Materials of Beijing University of Science and Technology, a leader of the alloy design and simulation echelon of the State Key Laboratory for New Metals, and a winner of the National Science and Technology Fund for.
Zhaoping Lv studied at the Second Department of Mechanical Engineering at Huazhong University of Science and Technology for his undergraduate degree from 1988 to 1992, and graduated with a bachelor's degree; From 1992 to 1995, I studied for a master's degree in mechanical engineering at Huazhong University of Science and Technology without taking exams; From 1996 to 2001, he/she pursued a doctoral degree in Materials Science at the National University of Singapore and obtained a doctoral degree upon graduation; From 1999 to 2001, worked as a research and development engineer at Kurissofer Industries Limited in Singapore; From 2001 to 2004, conducted postdoctoral research at the Oak Ridge National Laboratory in the United States; From 2004 to 2006, worked as a researcher at the Oak Ridge National Laboratory in the United States; Appointed as Vice President and Standing Committee Member of the Party Committee of Beijing University of Science and Technology in June 2017; Appointed as a member of the Party Group of the China Association for Science and Technology in March 2020 (on secondment); In April 2020, he was appointed as a member of the Standing Committee and Secretary of the Secretariat of the China Association for Science and Technology (on secondment).
Zhaoping Lv has been engaged in research on advanced high-performance steel materials, bulk amorphous alloys, and high entropy alloys for a long time, mainly focusing on the high-temperature strengthening and oxidation mechanisms of high-performance heat-resistant steel; Physical metallurgy, mechanical behavior, and engineering applications of bulk amorphous alloys; Porous metal materials and high entropy alloys.
